Kelly’s Cookie Boxes is a certified bakery located in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
DO YOU MAKE ALLERGEN-FREE COOKIES?
We currently do not offer special dietary cookies. Our recipe does not contain any nuts; however, we do not bake in a nut free environment.
WHAT TYPE OF COOKIES DO YOU MAKE?
Our custom sugar cookies are a true vanilla sugar cookie decorated with royal icing.
HOW MANY DESIGNS DO YOU DO PER DOZEN?
We limit the designs to 3-4 designs per order.
DO YOU REQUIREMENT A MINIMUM ORDER AMOUNT?
For our quick order custom cookies we have a minimum requirement of half a dozen. For custom designed cookies we require a minimum of one dozen per order.
HOW ARE YOUR COOKIES PACKAGED?
Our cookies come individually heat sealed and carefully packaged. If cookies are being shipped, after heat sealed, each cookie will be wrapped in a bubble wrap pouch and placed in a bakery box. The bakery box will then be packaged in a shipping box with packing materials to keep it secure.
DO YOU SHIP?
We ship all over the USA. The cost for packaging/shipping is determined by the amount of cookies that are ordered. Please keep in mind that once the cookies ship, I can not control how the box is handled. Although breakage is very rare, it is possible. We are not responsible for lost or damaged cookies. All orders being shipped come with tracking.
HOW LONG WILL MY COOKIES STAY FRESH?
Cookies that are heat sealed can stay fresh for up to at least 2-3 weeks.
HOW MUCH NOTICE SHOULD I GIVE YOU FOR MY ORDER?
7-10 days of lead time is helpful for smaller orders. Custom decorated sugar cookies are an art! Between planning designs, acquiring supplies, baking, and decorating, it is a multi-day process. For larger orders (over 4 dozen), 2+ weeks is preferable. You can always contact us and we'll let you know what the calendar looks like!
I’M NOT USING MY COOKIES RIGHT AWAY, HOW DO I STORE THEM?
Cookies can be placed in the freezer in order to maintain freshness. When freezing cookies, place the cookies in an airtight container. When ready to serve, let cookies come to room temperature in the original container. Do not refrigerate cookies as condensation may develop inside the heat cello bags.
