A few years back, over Christmas break, I decided to try my hand at sugar cookies decorated with royal icing. To my surprise, mastering the ideal consistencies and hues of royal icing proved to be quite the challenge. Yet, with each holiday season, I honed my skills. A year later, I found myself confident enough to share my creations with friends and even contribute a tray to my husband's office party. Suddenly, inquiries arose about selling them for special occasions. Initially, as a first-grade teacher and a busy mom of two, I brushed off the idea. However, as time passed, and with one child off to college and another soon to follow, the idea lingered in my mind. The persistent requests from loved ones couldn't be ignored any longer. Thus, Kelly's Cookie Boxes was born. Officially launched in February 2024, I eagerly anticipate the journey ahead.
